Swimmer Ross Edgley came ashore in Reykjavík yesterday after swimming around the country in 115 days.
“This has been absolutely amazing... but now I’m going to celebrate with my team; have a burger and a beer!” said Ross.
"I lost a small piece of my tongue early on because of saltwater. It felt like everything was going wrong, but we managed to work through it.”

Earlier today, prior to the convening of Alþingi, a press conference at which the leaders of the governing parties presented the government’s legislative agenda took place.
Those leaders are Kristrún Frostadóttir, prime minister, Þorgerður Katrín Gunnarsdóttir, minister of foreign affairs, and Inga Sæland, minister for social affairs and housing.
