Félag talmeinafræðinga á Íslandi (Icelandic Association of Speech and Language Therapists) has expressed concern over the decision by the board of Reykjalundur (Rehabilitation Centre) to dismiss the speech and language therapists who worked there and instead hire speech and language therapists as contractors.
The board fears that this represents a major step backwards in services for the groups who attend Reykjalundur.
