Start stopping, say Vestmannaeyjar police

In October, drivers in Vestmannaeyjar will notice increased police presence at stop signs around the town.

Parents at Brákarborg not informed of alleged sexual offence by staff member

Police are investigating sexual assaults at two kindergartens in Reykjavík.

The preschool employee who was arrested last week on suspicion of a sexual offence against a child worked at the preschool Brákarborg.

Parents were not informed about the police investigation until they received an email that Reykjavíkurborg (City of Reykjavík) sent at around 12:15 pm today, after RÚV reported on the case.
