Landsnet has completed repairs to the power line Hvolsvallarlína 1, which tripped around 10 am this morning.
It caused widespread power outages in South Iceland.
In an announcement from Landsnet shortly after lunchtime, it was stated that electricity has been restored to all delivery points.

One retail building after another has sprung up in Selfoss in recent years, especially in the eastern part of the town. There has been extensive development in Selfoss in recent years and the population is growing rapidly.
Austurgarður is the latest addition, and a shop owner in the building says the proximity to the new Ölfusá bridge, due to open in three years, and easy access to parking, all have great appeal.
