Hera Björk will be Iceland's Eurovision presenter

Singer Hera Björk will announce the Icelandic jury's results on Saturday's Eurovision final. Hera Björk is no stranger to Eurovision, having represented Iceland in Oslo in 2010 with the song Je ne sais quoi and last year in Malmö with the song Scared of Heights. She has also been a backing vocalist and vocal coach for three other Icelandic entries over the years.

Two vehicles stopped in a police patrol on Suðurlandsvegur

A significant number of police officers are taking part in extensive operations on the road Suðurlandsvegur, just outside the capital. Three police departments, the Icelandic Road Administration and the Tax Administration are monitoring buses and trucks there. The Icelandic Police in Vesturland are leading the operations today. Jón Ólason, Chief of Police, says the project is large.

Voting glitches don't change the results

Several Norwegians who voted for Croatia in the previous Eurovision qualifier say they have been notified that their vote has gone to the Israeli contestant. "Thank you for voting for Israel! You can vote 20 times, so if you liked the donation you can vote again," was the message that appeared on many people's phones.
