Eruption in Holuhraun lava field

The eruption lasted for almost six months, started on August 31st, 2014 and ended on February 27th. The lava field is 85 square km, average thickness of the lava is 10 - 14 meters, max 40 meters and the volume is 1.4 cubic km.
